The paint shop, geometry set up, a a pre-IVA MOT are not mandatory tests.

I used self tapping studs without an issue, but you MUST countersink the hole before you screw the stud in. It's the gel coat that will crack rather than the fibreglass, counter sink the hole takes...
I'm using Admiral multi car. The insurance on a Bentley GT for me and the missus went from £650 to £400 with multicar, bargain !
The AK car loom goes from drivers side to passenger side in the cockpit, not the engine bay.
The AK loom exits the cockpit to the engine bay at either side (high and wide), you'll need fix it to the fibreglas between the bulkhead and the wheel arch, then there should be pre-drilled holes...
You can apply to DVLA to have VIN issued.
No not make one up, as some may suggest.
The only thing you take of the donor V5 is the year of manufacture. The plate and the VIN get consigned to the...
How about some sort of timer, so it starts as "normal" then after 3 seconds of running it looks for the oil pressure to maintain ignition?
Maybe you could you use (delay on or delay off) relay??
...
I think you might need a one way valve too, also, make sure it's secured to something between the carb and the servo (for IVA).
Your better off using a sat nav and calibrate it to that. The sat nav should read closer to actual than the speedo in your car as they are normally set up to 5% higher than actual.
But if you...
Flip a coin, if it don’t work, flip it again
I thought the needles had the equivalent of dampers on them to stop them bouncing about all over the place?
When you turn the ignition on, does the needle shoot up straight away, or move slowly?
When you get to IVA, a Brasscraft Filler on a Pilgrim is too high to pass test. When you order the cap, ask Brasscraft for the lower screw cap (which must then be tethered to the base).
Fuel pipe...
Been fine until this afternoon, started and drove out the garage, turned it off, now it’s just clicking
Starter motor spins freely on the bench, but on the car all I get is rapid clicking.
Engine turns over if you put it in 5th and push the car forward.
Any ideas?
It’s simple, all controlled from an app on a phone
We had this in the last house we bought, it's wired in series with the existing thermostat so either will turn the heating off, we just turn the original stat up to 30degree, ignore it, then use this...
It should be fine but make sure every inch of wire has protection on it, even single wires right at the end of the loom, and make sure it won't move backwards and forwards inside the sleeving.
is this still available??
At one of my IVA tests, my AK was very close to a pass so the tester said I'll drive it round the building with it engaged to try and bed them in.
When he came back to try it again there was smoke...
Sounds like you'll need to improve its function anyway, I'm guessing the tester was only pulling it that hard to get it to pass??
My first AK failed 1 (and nearly 2) IVA tests on handbrake...
Just spotted this and I thought I'd let you know something I did that made a world of difference.
Change the two rod bushes in the remote.

I also like idea of leaving it pressurised for 10 minutes to help find leaks.
I guess that relies on forming an air tight seal with the pipe on the bleed nipple??
I’m not sure I like that Idea
Looking to buy a decent one man brake bleeding kit.
Looking at this one, I like the idea of the 90 degree connection to get it on the top of the reservoir which is half hidden under the body, any...
Yep, the bare male terminal faces the bulb, the insulated female faces the alternator (I think), wired in series.
Give it a go and let us know.
