The Goodwood Festival of Speed 2021 is 8th to 11th July. The following weekend or a weekend in August would maybe be more prudent.

Hi Tony,
As ever, East Anglia will be 'on tour' but what that amounts to at the moment is possibly pie in the sky. We'll see :-)
Assume this is a SBC. A typical issue with the design of the heads. Right angle leads are the way to go (and keep and eye on them and a spare or two in the boot).
I have Gaz shocks on my Dax (and an old Triumph Spitfire) - both replaced older Spax shocks. Well worth the money.
Sorry, after 5 years its long gone.
Its best to jack up the hubs not the chassis so that the driveline is in it's normal orientation / loading.
I bought a DAX rolling chassis in 1995. I upped the spec from the 'standard' to a 2.88 Powerlock. The same diff (untouched since) is still in the car 25 years later.
Air Receivers / compressors work perfectly well with pressure gauges / controllers.
Takes me back to Thermodynamics at Nautical College - Boyles / Charles Laws.
!
Long time, no speak.....

I've got Issue Six in hard copy - September 1994
:(
Announced today. Goodwood Festival of Speed and Revival now cancelled - come back next year!
This looks to be an interesting solution. My old Dax (1995 chassis) has the centre belt mounts in the lower position and I've been contemplating what to do to raise them for donkeys years.
I...

Doesn't really add to the selling points when the advert tells you to go to Youtube and watch cobra crash videos!

I looked at the MOT 'exemption' when I sorted out the Spitfire. The 'exemption' only applies to a vehicle where 'no ‘substantial changes’ have been made to the vehicle in the last 30 years, for...

I've just gone through applying for a V5C for an old Triumph Spitfire. Car is > 40 years old and was PLG on the old V5C. New V5C has it as 'Historic' at nil tax rate. Not sure whether that would...

Two post commercial type vehicle lifts do exactly that (although they should have a periodic third party examination to comply with LOLER)
