Anyone with Octopus Energy?
I was transferred a few months ago automatically when Flo-Energy folded. They have just put up my DD by £40 a month, and their on-line interface is a total nightmare to...
that is a Dax ladder frame - right? - I think its the only chassis that has that much flex.
There is certainly no flex at all on either a Pilgrim or a Crendon.
you dont need the 3 ton one, just buy the 2 ton one for £89, or go to Halfords and buy a similar design but with a pedal left as well for £120.
They are both great prpducts.
you can buy individual bezels, and then prize off the old once and fix on the new ones.
You might need some crimps.
what Daryn said. 4 M8 bolts to chassis plates each side, IIRC.
Clarity please: the man needs to know whether to take a carrot or some Bonio with him. :-P
if its a Sumo, my money is on an air lock in the top hose.
yup...well it passed at Gillingham, no issues, and they're pretty tough.
get a standard chrome one with the plinth like this:
https://www.carbuilder.com/uk/chrome-stainless-pedestal-interior-mirror-147mm
and then just buy the separate mirror with a black plastic...
- and if Roy's offer fails, try Europa, Hawk or Pilgrim themselves.
Looking really nice Lee..give us a few more pics.
I know nothing about the car, I haven't seen it, and am not involved in the sale.
But to keep everyone happy....I had no idea my opinions influenced market value.......
'Clearly underpriced'
...
what engine?
did you mean bar or psi?
Yup, the only exeception is Trevor Legate's AC/Hawk replica that adorns the front his 'Cobra at 40 years' book.
Simon: nice to see your :-P with me on that!
Steve: you may have successfully put me off this upgrade - I can only find pics of an AC Greyhound with P700s, and none with PL700s.
same as me - Ian gave me the idea to get the black surround mirror from CBSand pop it onto my existing plinth and stalk - I rather liked it, so its stayed.
I failed with a suction one first time around.
- don't think it is - wont retract and possible sharp edges.
'water temp gauge not working.'
- have you fitted a voltage regulator to the gauge, and are the connection to it wired correctly?- that last one caught me out last year on a similar gauge.
- yup got it!
Done a couple of hundred miles, and although oil round the dipstick is still dark brown, it looked rather black when i removed a remote oil filter hose to try and fix a leak and caught some of it in...
Not clogged on the inlet then....unless the filter is jammed (bit unlikely).
Finally a run out today in the dry, down to the Goodwood meet.
Great to see a few old faces again.
Have you got a fuel fitler between pump and engine? Gunk from tank jamming pump?
I've got one attached similar to above - its pretty crap. I think you can get a convex lens to go in them which can help a bit.
I use the dash mirror to check whats behind me intermittently.
But...
