Bloke from Stoke may be underplaying how many he’s built ;-)
Get there!
Jim
I may be naive but....I thought that if the Ins Co wrote it off they gave it an appropriate category, Cosmetic, Structural but OK to repair, Structural but OK for spares and not repair, Structural...
That’s got to have been a write off (Cat C equiv, whatever that is called now), someone has been a bit naughty not registering it as such!
At the right price it would make sense as a bunch of...
Somebody PM me please if they think there is enough material for a sticky. Otherwise I may miss it
Cheers
Jim
Hang on!
Fiancée, upside down in the footwell of a Cobra - she’s a keeper! Get her married man!
:-)
A catch can if it’s fuming
That made me chuckle enough to consider making it a sticky post 😂

2. In the boot, mines lived there for about 17 years and hasn’t suffered (gets used when it’s out and about though).

Put down the beer....right now ;-)
I got mine from GD about 20 years ago and they are Willans- model....no idea though
I would worry about the rubbing (probably unnecessarily!),

3*6mtr for £60ish
Howdy,
Yep I’ll ping Rob cos it makes no sense to me ;-)
Cheers
Jim
Pretty much yep! I went from a 3:31 to a 3:54 to make 6th a bit more useable! Currently spin the engine at about 2k @70Mph, the old diff was north of 80 for the same.

It never is though, give it time ;-)
Scope creep is a wonderful thing!
Jim
That would be better, just try and spread the load away from the wings though.
Yep, grind down otherwise they squeek/wear down the glass fibre. 3 of mine had delaminated (took 15 years mind!) so...
Robin,
Nah, that won’t work unfortunately, it’ll tip forward a lot.
The poly mounts that you can find on the web......don’t work! (no fixing points for the bolts)
Jim
If you paid for someone to do that then they owe you all of the money back! (Small Claims Court is reasonably easy to do). Your only real option is rip it all off and start again - dot ‘n’ dab...
