The plugs and sockets are used for connection, AK have put those sockets already on the loom, the wires not used can then be removed. No wires need splicing into the loom from memory!

Thanks for the replies Craig! Electrics aren't my thing and I was concerned about doing some damage to the Omex, relays on the power side and I had no idea if you'd get a power surge/ spike

When using an Omex system does it make any difference to battery isolation ie, the build manual shows the earth going through the isolation switch which is how I was going to do it but thought I ask...
