After much delay it’s all back together now.
Question, can someone with an XJ40 manual tell me what the hub nut Torque should be? (XJ6 book says 55lb ft which feels waaaay to light to me).

If they couldn't prove that the driver duffed up changing the bearing then there is no prosecution
Thumbs up from me for Kiley Clinton, mines a very early bitsa rack (many Triumph bits) - They did mine a few years back without a quibble.

That’s a very satisfying set of photo’s!
1. No that I remember.
2. God yes!
Cool, better found now rather than mid IVA.
When do you think IVA will be?

I might be wrong, but I thought that the heater should not draw air in from the engine bay (fumes)?

I wouldn’t hesitate, go get it! (What you don’t want is for Mr Engine builder to go bust due to the Plague! and your engine wind up in the receivers grubby mitts)

Steve Hole at total kit car might be worth a shout as he keeps tabs on who'a curating which kit car company most of the time .

Paul,
This might be nothing to do with your issue, however!
When I first fitted my LS1/T56 it would change gear and fully engage if you used the gear-lever “normally” as soon as I tried to...
I’m in the “too much is too much” camp, pre supercharger I was about 400Hp which allowed me to really push it “occasionally” on the road, with the blower I’m at about 550Hp and now if I...
I’ve left mine on for no reason other than I’m lazy :-). You won’t get wheel hop though, I’m pushing about 550Hp through them and it’s fine without.
I’m all adjusted now, arms are back...
I’m on my iPad and it works fine
Check engine and gearbox mounts would be my first goto
Nice job John, that looks really good

I’ve used half shafts and hubs from an XJ40, remainder is XJ6 S3. Overall track was the same once But had to have a spacer on the inner end of the half shaft (which is actually the XJ6 disk with...
Nice :-)
External waste gates and screamer pipes? Or a bit more sober?
3mm painted (so probs 2mm plate at a guess).
I changed my front bushes out for poly years ago.....can’t say I noticed a difference either way!

Smoothrite for me, nice and easy to apply and not too stinky! And yep LCA’s are beefed up nicely.
Hi Justin,
I’m still body on so that will a bit harder for me (might try though!), I’ve got XJ40 hubs and drive shafts on with the outboard Vented brakes from an X308 which are much nicer to...
Ha Ha Ha, how’s your install going? Does it all fit in now?
I’m only running 7psi, the beauty of the Centri blower is that it builds power exponentially so most of the time it’s just pootling around like an NA engine, it’s only when you climb up the Rev...
Not Torquestorm, I’ve fitted a Procharger Centrifugal blower on my LS, I made my own mounts for it and have it mounted low and in front of the engine.
It’s quite exciting ;-)
