Predictive text is a pain, it's Tatton Park
The dates are out for June, July and August car shows at tattoo Park. Is anyone going, assuming of course covid allowed
Hi Ian,
Good data, worth sharing
Alun
Hi tony,
How's things going.
I used a can of carb cleaner(aerosol), rigged a tube to feed into the injector and bought a box of tricks of ebay for £20 that allows you to cycle the injector....
Hi Ian,
I understand your point but for me the donuts are too rigid and a bit much like "hit or miss" with regards to aligning the seals. The benefit for me of the toyota seal is that it's shaped...
Hi Graham,
Yes those are the ones.
The toyota part numbers, which rockauto uses are below
top- 23250B (O ring to fuel rail)
Middle - 23250C (vibration ring, I think that's what they call...
I serviced my injectors a few months ago, replacing all the seals and o rings, together with checking spray patterns but I've had an annoying rough running when I put my foot down. It passed the...
Thanks Martin,
All sorted, I just wasn't looking in the right place
Many thanks
does anyone have an electronic version of the ms3 manual I could have
Yes I understand the sentiment but second time around and 1/4 of the size should reduce it to 2 yrs surely.
That's a nice unit. Where did you get the kit from
I've been looking for a junior size cobra for my grandson, 5 years old . I'm interested in a kit not the finished article. Any ideas if they are available. Thought I'd try here before I trawl the net
I'd say you were unlucky. Either that or you've been switching off whilst on full load which is unlikely to happen. Not sure what size starter motor and alternator you have but that's about the only...
One thought, what's the height of your engine mounts. Is the clearance issue linked to hitting the chassis side rail, front to rear.
As Tony said, I used a saab pump which had the same pulley rib as the lexus. Reversed the tensioner and put the alternator on the opposite side of the engine in place of the ac compressor. Had no...
It's just the amount of peripheral bits which you need to take off that takes the time òn a Lexus. Driver side a bit o of a pain because of the air input manifold.
It's a while since I put mine together but from memory I think you calibrate the gauge which produces one table and then you calibrate the sender with the fuel, which produces another table. It then...
I installed a vdo and spider. Both work fine together and far better than the caerbont float style. Just take your time calibrating it. As for compatability with the smiths gauges, I had no issues....
with so many ecms on the market, what are people using and what's the experience regarding installation. Specifically fuel maps etc, installation manuals, UK support and ease of software use
Graham
Check out rock auto in the state's. When you take the cost of the components and postage together they normally come in quite reasonable. In fact I had a couple of gaskets delivered for...
Graham,,
What size hole do those grommets from trimmer bros need to fit
Has anyone bought one of the spa dual temperature gauges, oil/water. If so do they supply thermistor sensors (normal type) or the super accurate thermocouple as standard when you buy one.
Thanks
I wouldn't bother with them. About the only useful fuel sender is a vdo type unit linked to a gauge wizard
Stephen,
Looking at the mustang rads are the inlet/outlets on the same side or opposites. Also does it have the oil cooler option for an auto box
