I looked at this for a while, you have to build a frame in the boot that the inertia reel bolts too, that's quite easy, it's the top mounts that need figuring out.

I know what you mean Kev but I've found a place behind the dash itself to mount. There's more room given its simplified and functional look.
nice link, so pin 30 and pin S are connected - with no earth on the relay this is why the VW switch then goes to earth to close the circuit which pulls the internal relay to main or dipped- sorted...
