Indeed, anyway, onto more important matters ;) ..... as this is the Brooklands thread, I think it means you need to get your car IVA'd by July!
Your first journey out from lockdown Northants, you...
the double-u and the kue keys have failed, and I dont alvays have thee external keyboard plugged in!
+1 for second vveek of July.
If you have AK sidescreens on your soft top, can you tell me the height of the frames (ignoring the the pins that go into the door)?
thanks, Kevin
'Should have....' ....naah, that'd be mean.... was a long time ago. ;)
Just need to get your car moving under its own power now! ...oh...and a pic of that new engine ....
Funny looking back-end - looks like a corvette.
Count me in.
I was a member when I lived nearer to them - we did a lot of trips there for the different events they had.
The Concorde tour is highly recommended.
ah. best give Simon a call - he often has some in stock.
hen you vvant to fit the knock-ons let mee knovv - vve cna have a chat. Its not that difficult....but there is hassle vvorth trying to avoid
ah, so that is one thing I don't have.
have you lost one, or got a problem with the thread?
nott sure what you mean - can you elaborate?
do you man a spare spinner , or .....?
So, its a £10k fine for holding a lockdown party.
An FE costs about £10k....or at least I suspect you have at least that invested.
So Aaron, we promise not to com round and hold a party,...
what Jim said....c'mon, go geddit, and post a pic.
if you know tthe angles, thn Merlinmotorsport and sort you out.
Same here. I think its just a thin coat of PVA to protect the colour. I washed it with a car sponge and soapy water - came off easy eenough.
The guy that said the Sumo chassis was crap didn't know what he was talking about. The MkI was rather flexible (assuming you can find one, as thy are decades old now), but no more flexible than any...
It all depends on the particular model you have.
At a shade under 6' I had to use James' method to get into the Sumo, which was easy enough once I'd got the hang of it.
The Crendon is rather...
ah, but it won't be your car - it'll be your fault because you didn't book the slot with your personal transport provider! - or at least the computer has no record ;)
I think you take the prize for most FEs any man has owned before IVA!
Yup, only now do I have a double garage, and its a small one. But yes, the Sumo I had was built in 3 different single garages over a decade, and the first half of the Crendon build done in a single...
Just an idea for Aaron: paint your car the correct Guardsman Blue, add stickers and then get a matching hardtop from 427Hardtops.
I can't find the post/pic now, but I saw a Dax fitted out like this...
Now that does look good.
Looking forward to seeing this back in your garage with the re-fit underway - well done.
so thats the thing - a Cobra averaging on 12 mpg driven for a 1000 miles per year over 10 years produces less CO2 than a return flight to LA - see prev video link I put up.
Ofcourse if we drove...
12 mpg if driven carefully. there might be a little bit more to come but i dont want to to start getting cocky!
Boasting about your fuel efficiency will buy you few friends on this forum, Sir. :-P
