    Hi Louie,
I’m surprised others haven’t posted on here to give you the benefits of their wisdom, it could be because Dek has taken up his annual residency in Madeira.

As a starter, could I oint you in the direction of Kugawestie’s excellent thread about the Classic Replicas rebuild ?

    Probably cheap to buy.
Lots of work (and money) to sort out.

As above, KugaWestie thread is your bed time reading!

Thanks guys - it is just a rolling shell and I suppose I am really asking will dash, screenframe etc all fit this version.
I has a Corvette 351 injection - is there an inlet manifold around to suit carb/s and are gearboxes hard to find/expensive ??
    Ta again.

Are you making a decision on whether to buy? or have you already bought the rolling shell?

Flipping from injection to Carb isn't hard, but will cost a fair bit.

If my memory serves, it was built out in Sri Lanka. It caused a lot of debate at the time because there were glowing reports from one mag, but they were involved with it as a sales front. I remember a rather damning report in another mag, but you could question their impartiality as well perhaps. If you dig around in the history of the forum I'd be surprised if there weren't some threads on it, it was a well debated topic.

Personally I'd be inclined to tread carefully until you can find someone else who's built one and who can tell you what to expect. I'm possibly being unfair, but I'd avoid paying mainstream prices for it unless you have a convincing argument from someone who owns one.
