Stunning looking... still think the Cobra is stunning too, but Aston Martin is (or was then) 100% British. I imagine once they shovel a Vauxhall 1.8 engine into it some of the charm will be lost, but good on them for reproducing a pretty classic. Let's be honest, we don't need another Cobra replica manufacturer...

...in fact, we only need GD

Oh god lets not start that again, anyway the whole 'GD bodyshell is a 289' argument is null and void as you can now get a 427 body shape.

I think the Aston looks brilliant, you're not likely to see one coming the other way are you? The only problem i can see is as it's so rare, no one would recognise it for what it is.

Thats half of the point of having a replica of a car you'd never be able to afford a real one of. People can assume you're driving a 1/4 or half million pound classic, instead of a modern lump of plastic.

If you just wanted a head turner you could go for an out and out radical one off kit, rather than a look-e-like-e.

Mine is not going to look like anyone else's... due to the super-lightweight Aeroshell (with "weight reducing" holes) and the novel wind deflectors I've carefully installed (cynics might say that I just haven't got the panels to fit properly...)

I will just remind you guys that the Aston DBR 2/3 is the car Carrol Shelby won LeMans in!!! i think it plays a role in the Cobra story, the last Aston of this type was sold for about 3million and thers only about 3 in existance!
Id rather own that car and no body knows what it is than everybody shouting out "Look theres another cobra replica"
