I've often been asked, "What do you old folks do now that you're retired? Well, I'm fortunate to have a chemical engineering background, one of the things I enjoy most is turning beer, wine, Scotch and margaritas into urine.
Life's good, live it.
Brake calipers / discs and others apparently!

Thats the one but not! I am looking to upgrade my brakes which at the moment are standard mk4 cortina thinking of vented discs and new calipers if poss something that would more or less bolt straight on any ideas
You should be able to get those bits from your local Motor Factors.
Probably Cortina GT or Lotus bits.

A popular mod is princess four pot calipers and bigger discs. Lots of companies do the conversion. Try classic ford mag, lots of places advertise it in there. You could go the willwood or similar route, but would be dearer. Obvious but try e-bay -
