Can anyone help..I have accepted an insurance quote from Adrian Flux, but they require an 'agreed value'. Any idea where I can obtain this?

Brian there used to be an area where people could post specialist fields or facilities that may help other builders.
Can't find it now but Dave Brookes offered this exact service you require, I think he's the guy to contact!

I'm with Adrian flux and to get an agreed value you need to send them a CD with 4 pictures of the car from each angle..

Once they have the pictures they will either agree with price you suggest or arrange for an inspection, I suppose this would depend on how realistic you are with your idea of the value!

If you've just joined with them they should send you documents explaining what to do

Are you ABSOLUTELY, 100% sure that you are getting an agreed value policy? A market value policy is not the best way to go with our cars. Adrian Flux were not doing agreed value policies last i heard, but I could be wrong. Ask. Forcefully.

I've been with them a year now and have an agreed value on my Dax.. Currently updating this after adding halibrands and an Hardtop which should increase the value..

I have to say though you made me nervous so I've checked my Doc's and it's all in black and white!

    AF definatly do agreed value.
I have insurance with them and on the policy it clearly states the AGREED VALUE.

    Hmmm.

Try doing a search on "agreed value", or "insurance".

Out of interest, where exactly does the "agreed value" show, on what precise document, and what is the wording?

    Re: insurance agreed value

    Hi Wilf et al,

I have an agreed value policy with AF.

Endorsement 120 of schedule 2 of the policy agreement says:

    "Endorsement 120 - Agreed Value.
If your car is lost or damaged beyond economical repair and the loss or damage is covered by this policy, we will pay you the amount notified by you in writing and agreed by us at the inception date of this policy or at the last renewal date prior to the loss or damage to your car".

Schedule 1 lists the applicable endorsements and endorsement 120 is listed as applicable.
