Re: Bargain Mustang 4.6L V8 Cobrajet Engines!

    Few points Ian.

From what I've heard in the past the Cobrajet engines are quite wide and would struggle to fit in a lot Cobra replicas. Something that new is going to need cats to get through SVA. £10k seems a lot of money for an engine and box combo (you could get a 408 stroker windsor doing over 400bhp and tremec box for £7.5k-ish)

As Kev says these engines are very wide and wont fit in most Cobras. Ken had a complete night mare fitting one in which involved modifying the body, chassis, and steering. Bit expensive too so not so much of a bargain

I thought the original post said it was for a couple of engines? I know someone who is in process of building a car with one of these - it's in and seems to fit ok.
It's official! British weather has been declared Muslim.

Hmm multiple valves = more rattles :rotfl:

    Sorry - couldn`t resist.
There is a fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."
You don`t have to be mental to build a kitcar - but it definitely helps.

GD JAG mk4 finally on the road (but not quite finished)
Currently got more hp than talent.
