    What cars do you like?

    Hi,

We all obviously like classic cars and classic car shapes.

But, what (apart from Cobras) do you all like?

I thought we could all post our top 5 cars here (with pics too please)

Here are my top 5 to get us started (not in any particular order):

    Shelby Mustang
    Ford GT40
    Chevrolet Stingray
    Aston Martin DB5
Ferrari 250 GT LWB California Spyder

Hard question as there is so many great cars.

Ferarri F40 (My ultimate car, I will own one one day!)
    911 993 Turbo
GT40 (Anyone who doesnt like this car has something wrong with them!)
    McLaren F1
    Classic Mini
    Cobra 427.
Sheldonhurst 427 were made by Sheldonhurst, run by Bill Cook and Terry Sands, from 1977 to 1987 selling 67 cars. This car had wider front arches than most to accommodate the Granada running gear.

    Original 427 Cobra
    Shortnose D type
Series one long cockpit E type DHC
    Early Dino 246
    C3 corvette

That was quite hard to do, my runners up were GT40 (probably too small for my gangly limbs), Porsche 911 (couldnt decide which one!!) Gullwing Merc 300SL (pretty but convinced it will be a lorry to drive) Early Mustang (too crude??) Elan Sprint DHC (too fragile) blower Bentley (imposing, historic, iconic, but another lorry)

    Thumbs up

Point of order Steve; he said APART from Cobras..
Porsche 917, Gulf colors, 600 horse 4.5 flat-12 , 0-100 in 5.3 sec, not bad for 1969, stood behind it in Goodwood paddock (Fest of Speed).. WOT A NOISE, the most evil and exciting sports racer of them all..

Bentley Continental S3 4 door Flying Spur; for its 'Englishness' when off to an English country pub for lunch..

Aston DB5, R.S.Williams 4.2 unleaded triple Weber Vantage, silver birch paint 'a la Bond', ejector seat at the ready should 'Mare' Livingstone cadge a lift..

Jaguar XK SS, roadgoing 'D' Type.

Ford Galaxie 500, 'Jack Sears' spec, 500 horse 427 FE, LORDY!!

    Paul.

427 S/C Cobra - The Kirkham is as close as I'm likely to get, but that's fine

GT40 Mk.I (Le Mans rear arches and "Gurney" bubble) - watch this space
Aston Martin DB4GT Zagato - possibly the prettiest car ...ever!
Ferrari 250GT SWB - There had to be one prancing horse in there.
    Porsche 911 2.7RS - What a gorgous sound !
Vincent Black Shadow - I know it's only got 2 wheels
