Probably the only one that does love him at the moment I can't believe he was so naive (perhaps I can) to think that he could "loose" it and no one would notice! It has to be one of the most unique cars around and as soon as he tries to move it on the whole world is going to know! Still if it's still round the back of his house, (As I believe it was 10 days ago) it will qualify for the most expensive chicken house ever I must nip round and have a look

Not all chemicals are bad. Without chemicals such as hydrogen and oxygen, for example, there would be no way to make water, a vital ingredient in beer

Den - brave man. Best of luck, and if you do really heed what has been said here, then the Sumo will regain it's place in kitcar history. As you well know, there will always be a place for a budget Cobra, please try to make it worthy of the name.

    Told Filby yet?
Crendon has left the building................bright yellow Stag has landed.

    Congratulations Den.
This is truely great news for owners like myself of part built Sumo's. Whilst I still feel bitter after loosing best part of three grand to the previous owner, I now have the feeling of confidence that I can see the build through to completion in the knowledge that the Pilgrim brand lives on.

You have my continued support and I wish you all the best.

Hope to see you very soon for more parts.
    Cheers,
    Peter O

Nope, but just in case he's reading this forum, let me write to him poetically (with apologies to Pete, from whom I borrowed some words)

There once was a man named Tanner,
Who was something of a long-term planner.

    When Pilgrim got canned,
    He bought back his brand,

And said, “Top that, Fibly, you Spanner!”

(Since Fibly doesn’t know what a spanner is, it stands for:-

Shyster, Perjurer, Abaddon, Nasty, Narcissismistic, Egotistic, Rat

And one hell of a spanner in the works he was too!)

I forgive you Mr Fibly, but thankfully we won’t ever need to cross paths again – we’re on completely different routes and will stay that way - unless Which Kit comes up for sale?
About your up-coming book on Cobras. I’ve heard about the chapter on performance (in particular: the bit where you explain that red ones go faster than blue ones). However, I would suggest that you have the chapter on Pilgrim checked first by your psychiatrist, then by your solicitor and then by the publisher. Then I’d suggest you have your publisher checked by your psychiatrist.

    Pilgrim R.I.P

Here we go with another Limerick then!

There was a young man called Den Tanner
Who new how to handle a spanner
He took over from “YOU KNOW”
    To rescue the Sumo
    In quite an incredible manner.

Best of luck Den from another Sumo mid build.

    Regards, Kelly.

Congrats Den, great news for all the people currently building, best of luck.

Next step should be to sort a banner out with Robert.
    Steve.
