I noticed this as someones signature on Clubcobra. Wise word, there are some people on this site who should read and inwardly digest...
It should not matter what you spend on a Cobra, real or replica, what should matter is that your happy with your decision. If you have to come to a forum such as this, and knock others for their choices to make yourself feel superior, then it's time to take a step back from the keyboard and seek professional help.
Not a bad sentiment.:tu

Here Here!!!
I well remember the very first Sumo’s with Cortina power, and the pleasure they brought to their owners who couldn’t afford anything bigger or better at the time.
You know what, they were brilliant fun to drive, economical to run and could be insured by a 17 year-old.
Even better was when these guys came back three, four or ten years later to tell me they’d enjoyed the experience so much that they’d ordered a DAX – Crendon – Python (the original, real version) or one of the other more authentic replicas.
We’d all do well to remember that we each live within our budgetary constraints and if we all had the BEST there’d be nothing to aspire toward.
Big or small, cheap or expensive, rich or poor. Enjoy your Cobra!!!!
My best (and I’ve had a few) was the first Mk2 Sumo, finished in red gel with grey Corbeau seats. It wasn’t precious. It was fun. I saw the guy I sold it to in 1990 for £7,000 the other day. He still loves it but after 13 years he’s thinking of selling it to get a bigger one. I valued it for him at £7,000 with faded gel and ripped drivers seat, or £8,000 after a re-spray costing £700 and new seats costing £165.
Difficult to knock value like that. Isn’t it?
