Had a sneaky peek at the cars yesterday but when I turned up everyone disappeared into the cafe and the other half was feeling cold so left before I had a chance to chat to anyone.

The cars there looked awesome so I would be very embarrassed if I turn up in the Hawthorn I've just bought.

Simon, it'll be fine - my car has taken the booby prize when i turn up at club meets, as i had a yelllow bonnet and doorswith a grey body - looked like noddy's car - have a ook in my gallery.

Tony, If there is anything being organised for Wheels day count me in. Planning on my car to emerge from its chrysalis with new paint ready for first trip out on Wheels day (complete with a For Sale sign)!

    cheers,

It doesn't help having a MGB engine but I could put some fake side exhausts to make it look like a V8 and keep the bonnet locked and not switch the engine on

You should have said something. There were a couple of people looking around the cars - there usually are - but as a participant in the CRC forum you should have said 'Hello'. Still, it was a bit chilly but the best weather for a 'Bushe' meet since last spring

3rd Sunday (2 weeks time) at the Swan, 3 Mile Cross - at least we have a pint...

If I'd known I was going to be so thirsty this morning I'd have drunk more beer last night.

was all set this morning, even turned it round ready - then Ken called at 9:15 to say trailer man was stuck. Re-scheduled for wed morning, but its as ready as I can make it. Got a living room full of bits (loft now full)!

See you all next month or at Wheels Day on good Friday, Tony.
    Tony,
Apologies for missing another meet - family committments.
However I fully intend to get to the wheels day at Rushmoore.
Will still be Cob-less as build taking time and some problems encountered, nothing drastic just methodology on how to fit air-con and windows.
Last year showed up in my wifes pink Z3 which caused a hoot or two - may do that again and upset all the homophobic white van drivers.

    And Wheelsday??

You said you would organise this year

Alternatively, anyone who wants to go just meets us at 08.00am at the Wellington Memorial and we all enter en-masse at 08.30?

Done......organised, maybe I'll just make a new post

    Hi Simon,

where abouts are you in Hampshire? I'm right at the top, about 10 mins from Blackbushe and there are quite a few of us up there in that area. Don't worry about the car, we happily drive round with Nobby in his car and its a DAX so clearly we're not picky

    Cheers
