    Question Hi need a Cobra

    Hi my name is Ian 51 mid life crisis and wanted a cobra for ever, I have about 16k to spend on a Cobra, driven a couple of pilgrims (was shaken to bits ) is this normal or were they just poor builds .
    Apart from pistonheads and ebay where is the best place to look

    I would like a 3.5L blue with cream leather! Any advice welcome thanks in anticipation

    Lots of people run their adjustable shocks as hard as they possibly can in the belief that it's more sporty...natch! most likely a setup tweak

    Don't kid yourself, these are not always touring cars.

    Some Pilgrim owners have gone for 17" rims on very little rubber, hence feel the potholes. I run 16" on my Pilgrim which is neither classic (15") or overly sporty looking, but gives a nice ride with tyres that can cope with a bit of thrashing.

    If you want comfy then an SLK may be a better option, but a well set up Cobra doesn't need to rattle your teeth.
