Thumbs up ht leads for SD1 Rover

i have looked at a few threads without much success so does anyone know where to buy good quality leads that can be cut to suit the required length

    Craig (craggle) mentioned these

Roadcraft Repower suppliers of American engine parts from Edelbrock for Ford and Chevrolet V8 engines and Tremec transmissions

but they are 90 degree ends and i need straight ones (and they must be blue (i know its sad but boys and their toys )

    Cheers

    Hi Ian

Taylor do those leads in the straight version but I can't see any UK suppliers advertising them.

Have a chat with some of the UK engine builders like Mike Huddart. If he dosen't stock anything I'm sure he'll be able to get something ordered in for you.

    Craig.

Built a Dax once, Long time ago, painted it blue, original huh...?

Have a look at the Real Steel site. They stock all sorts of leads in many colours.

They have a good selection will ring them in the morning, are the MOROSO leads £61.50 worth the extra compared to the MALLORY set @ £31.60

Do you get what you pay?

    Hi Ian,
The HT leads fitted came with the Jacobs ignition system. Make sure the ones you buy are up to it.....

i used the pertronix leads and they came way too long. You specify what ends you want , mine came with straight plaugs ends made up with 90's unmade for the other end and you just cut them to length

I bought the Moroso leads but I needed the 135o ends and in yellow long enough for a Big Block with a loom kit fitted. (Very long heads).

As for the Mallory item, I can't say whether they are better or worse than Moroso, but I would say that Moroso products aren't the most expensive out there and are of a reasonable quality.
