I can help you with the chart but in my humble its useless anyway! it has errors in it and jet/rod combinations are missing! (At least from the 500 chart)

What carb are you running? (If its the 600 then the factory jetted it as two different versions, one being an emission control jobbie).

I have a spreadsheet that works much better than the charts, you bung in the standard settings in the top row then bung in any jet and rod combo that you like. The spreadsheet then compares the new combination to the standard setup and gives you a percentage leaner for cruise and the powerstep. (Some bloke on the forum wrote it for me as I was doing it all by hand with a calculator)

You can have a copy of the spreadsheet if you PM me an email address.
(Tell me what the carb is and I'll bung in the base settings for you)

There is a VERY good book on ebay that tells explains how these carbs work.

I wrote my own version before I read the book, its here:-

How To Build a Pilgrim Sumo: Fueling System

The gumph on the wiki is aimed at RV8 lumps but its still worth a scan read. (How the jets and rods work is explained).

Jason, would it not be best to consult BAE before you could make things worse??

BAE deliver engines with the carb set out of the box, much like most other engine suppliers.

Noel's engine 383 (supplied by BAE) ran about 8 percent too rich in cruise mode, as far as I can remember the acceleration mode and WOT were not far off the mark.

I have already emailed Jason and explained that to set the WOT properly the exhaust gas will need analysing however it is perfectly possible to set up the cruise just by driving the car. If you go too lean you won't damage the engine as it is virtually under no load. It is very easy to tell if its gone to lean in cruise as the engine will hunt like crazy and/or be as flat as a fart.
