This car totalheadturners.com : Ram SC Cobra used to belong to a member from essex. It is the nicest finished, most brutally fast and certainly the loudest cobra I have ever been in. Built by Dave Whitehurst and based on a RAM chassis, it is reputed to have 625 BHP and 550ft lbs of torque for a 351 stroker taken out to 427 cu in. This takes the term "stump pulling torque" to a whole new level!
Nothing to do with me, other than it being my favourite Cobra of all time.

Looks nice, love the colour and that 2+2 conversion looks surprisingly good too. I guess the fuel tank has ended up on the boot floor or in the inner wings.

While living in the UK, this car came out in the Kit Car Magizine around the mid 90's. Had one of the first 351 W stroked to 427. Sidepipes were made from some different material (kevlar?) and other mods were done to this car including the rear seat addition. If I remember correctly, the performance was very quick during that time.
I think Adrian Cocking was pretty impressed with the mods at that time.
Maybe someone has an old Kit Car mag from 95/96?
