I've got an lt85 (IIRC) with bell housing if you want it. Gearbox probably needs a rebuild but its meant to be a good box and should fit as i think the fitting is identical to the 77. PM me if you're interested.

    Hi Sean,
I have an LT77 gearbox and bellhousing, could probably do with a rebuild as well, and I live in Cirencester, not far from Cheltenham. PM if interested.

I have a bellhousing going spare! (Wokingham area)

I also have an R380 box but first gear is too low for a Cob replica.
I refuse to engage in a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent.

I think the 4x4 boxes are different in that they have a whole load of gubbins on the back of them, my box does not therefore I think that it is out of an LDV van or something else that needs a low first gear and is 2WD.

Anyway the long and short of it is that I would not recomend TM Transmissions to anyone, the bloke told me that he had reconditioned the unit and it was out of a Morgan, he had not and it was not!

He was recommended to me by someone in the NW who'd had a box off him.

Seemed nice enough so far, even came up to Stoke to collect from me at no cost; fingers crossed - I'll feedback either way

Can't help feel I'm jinxed at the moment (preload/piston clearance making progress, I think)
