    Car Fest 2013

    Hi all.

Any thoughts on Chris Evans'/Children In Need Car Fest this year?

(I think) there's an "apply now" on the web site for a car club pitch?

Dates are 2nd to 4th August.

    Craig.
    Regards

    Craig Perry

No, I'm not "repairing" it, I'm fine tuning its performance.

I think a few of the guys went last year, but I must admit I didn't hear much feedback from it.
I know someone else looked into a "Club" pitch last year but didn't bother on the cost grounds although I didn't think it was too bad myself.

Got a full weekend ticket for me and the family but won't be taking the cobra as there is so many other things to do. Plus IMHO its more of a family event involving cars [a good balance to keep everyone happy] . Like I say though just my opinion.

I seem to remember the main gripe was how small a percentage of the entry fee actually found it's way to Children in Need. I know these things take money to organise but...........

Damned expensive day out. Mind you, looking at last year's auction, there could be some tempting metal about!!! ...A couple of Dax Cobras plus my favourite, a Pontiac Firebird (Lot 207)
    Robin.

No longer hard-topped, but still relatively soft-centred...
