    litchlake camping

    Guys

just booked the camping at litchlake for friday/sat night they said they are happy to allocate a space for us as they have done before

what they would like is an Idea of numbers I said its probably 20-30 spaces at a guess but could be 50?

If possible they would like someone to go and choose a spot on the thursday before to be roped off for us. Is anyone local that could do that? or early friday morning?

so perhaps its time to start a list

Well, as steve_h appears to of taken on the mantel for sorting out Litchlake (nice one Steve), i'll add myself to the list too . I've also cajoled my mate in to getting the X1/9 owners club to attend this years event, so there maybe a few X1/9's joining us at the campsite this year - hope that's OK?

Chaps, I've booked for the weekend and booked an electric Hookup for the Motor Home. Having not been before, I don't really understand the context of 'Litchlake'. Is this the name of the generic campsite or something completely different and will we be able to join you in the Motor Home ?

The Litchlake campsite is the most convenient one for circuit and concert access.
No major queuing to get in and out.
    It's opposite the main entrance.
Couldn't use it last year due to Noah's flood. :mad
They do have hook ups but whether they're near the rest of us camping I don't know.

Having gone back on the website, the 'Woodlands' camp site is mentioned so I assume that is what I have booked into. Where is this in relation to Litchlake ?

Woodlands is further away and where many of us camped last year due to unavailability of others.
It's Silverstones own site and its fine but dearer and too far walk I reckon if you want to have drink at the concerts.
Also the shuttle buses to that end of the circuit stop to early too.
    Here's the link for Litchlake.
