    Engine Dyno'd and now away for EFI

    Just had the engine Dyno'd by David Clarkson and Tim Adams.... She ran a sweet 464bhp and 450 torque! Very exciting!! And sounded great.. Now she is in David's safe hands for new rods, pistons and TWM throttle bodies... Bring on the smile factor 😃

    Just curious, if the engine is making 464bhp with no problems why are you fitting new rods and pistons ?

    Cam is capable of 6500+rpm and current rods and pistons aren't really... Plus with the extra torque and power to be gained by the TWMs is more a safety ceiling...

    wow, that's what I was going to ask, making all that power and you are going to take it apart again!!

    We want the throttle bodies for fuel injection, to flatten out power curve and help our road manners and because they look the dogs b*ll*cks! And a by product is potentially more power so the rods and pistons are more a safety measure and because we have a cam that likes to rev well above their current 6000rpm ceiling.. Plus we might get to join Clarkson, V8BJC and a few others in the 500 club lol.

    The ECU will also enable us to have traction control (preparing ourselves for the abuse) and an immobiliser..

    All in all we reckon its worth it 😃

    Clarkson is an absolute genius!! 520bhp, 510 torque and a beautiful power curve! photos to follow on sunday!! the Cobra rocker covers with the throttle bodies look the nuts!!!
