    I was 18 and got the blurb to build a mini moke, as the company were 100 yard from my parents house.

    My mum looked over as i was busy studying brochure and build details, 'You cant build anything like that, what do you know about cars'.
    Idea canned.

    Fast forward 12 years to the Earls' Court Motor Show with G/F planning to buy a new car and i see a Hawk 289, NG and an Ultima. Blown away.
    Got all the sales guff i could carry. A year later Pilgrim chassis in the garage, been here ever since.

    Hello from another Uckfield Cobra owner!! Good luck on the 22nd, don't imagine insurance will be particularly cheap for a 17 year old on a Cobra, mind...

    Maybe Den could look at developing a Citroen Saxo based version alongside the BMW one....
