    End of an era

    After 10 years of ownership V8BJC is no longer a Cobra . Got the letter from DVLA today confirming that the car has been returned to its original number.

    The new owner collected the car today also leaving me an empty garage. Very strange feeling watching somebody else drive it of my drive.

    I wish the new owner all the the best with the car that I have enjoyed so much since 2003. The car came to our wedding and is almost like one of the family.

    I have met a lot of good people through this club and many have become good friends so I am sure that I will see many of you around at various events. Those that travel with me just need to promise to wait for me as I now have 200 less horses to play with

    I know the feeling Brian. Fortunately I've always had another in the pipeline.
    Don't be a stranger here mate, just because you have gone to the darkside.

    always sad when a car leaves the drive/garage and will not come back ..... especially when you have physically built the car in the first place!

    The TVR arrives on 1st June so not long to wait. Not quite the looks or power of the cobra but something I will get more use out of. Nice to have one of the 100 Special Edition cars too.

    Will still get about to events and will pop in here every now and again to say hello and make sure you are all behaving yourselves.

    Neil - Mia (my 3 yr old) has just your avatar and can't stop laughing.

    So Classic Le Mans next year then mate??

    Ive got a little video of mine as the guy who bought it drives off and gives me a little wave. When I'm feeling really happy I take a look at it just to bring myself back down to earth

    It's a disease you know, (cars I mean) no known cure as far as I know. I've just bought a 68’ Mustang and a Harley to keep me company while I'm building my next one. Luckily I've got a very understanding wife which helps

    GD Mk4 No4 in build - Ready for Le Mans Classic 2018 (no luck needed it WILL be done that's a promise
    )

    GD Mk4 White/Blue Stripe Sidepipes LS2...SOLD

    Blue Mk4 GD LS1...SOLD

    Don't worry Brian, there is life after Cobras, I can attest to that. It does consist of fixing fluid leaks on 40 yr old classics though.......
    Crendon has left the building................bright yellow Stag has landed.
