Yes I guess it's possible to fit them to most models - I'll have to book another appointment at Specsavers!

I recognise the car as an older SRV8, body very similar to a Ram and roll hoop as factory supplied. Of course I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure of it.

Roll hoop is too small a diameter for an SR. It looks like an old Dax to me.

Sure looks like an SR body shape, roll hoop was 2.5inch.

Dave, far be it from myself to question your knowledge, as I know you have far more experience on the Dax than even Dax themselves. However I've just used a snippet tool and blown up the viewable front nearside wheel arch and that's what made me think it was an SR, but that is the distinctive shape and size of the SR supplied twin roll hoop. Then again it could easily be a Ram. BUT THEN AGAIN, DO WE ALL REALLY CARE ????? Obviously a I'm having this saddo moment 'cos my car isn't running well with a miss fire and backfire and surging engine. I've now replaced. points, plugs, condensor, rotor arm, dizzy top,ht leads, coil, rebuilt carb, done timing. gonna change fuel filter tomorrow. I suppose it's heads off next to see if valves are good. Any ideas, anyboby.
