    Yup, my wires come out about 6" in from the edge of the screen, and face upward (up the screen) so need to double back and come back down again to go into the car somewhere - I had assumed (wrongly, apparently) that they'd come out of the posts like yours. In all honesty, if I'd known where the wires were going to come out, I'd probably have stuck with the non-heated screen

    Thanks for the info guys...

    Does the screen come with any electrical circuitry like a timer? presumably you wouldn't want it switched on permanently ?

    And I agree, wires coming from the bottom of the screen would make more sense!
