    Made progress!

No shocks yet, finances in progress.
No front brakes yet, work in progress.
No brake lines yet, work in progress after the front brakes work in.... you get the idea.

My first post on "what you did". It will do for now.

    Graham.

Yep, looking good Graham. I'm not so sure about the Hobgoblin camber compensation system though. In my experience, it has a tendency to create unpredictable lean angles and a distinctly non-linear direction of travel - after partaking of several of them at least!

My current overly stiff suspension needs all the help it can get, I will partake of a few more later while contemplating steering lock and reducing it. As soon as things start to spin correctly I know I'm there!

I sent the car down to Andy Hatton on 29th July to get a hardtop supplied and fitted.
Flew to Stansted and collected it on 7th August, then drove to the NRSA Supernationals at Old Warden, Biggleswade (I'm part of the NSRA Crew).
Then drove 350 miles home on Monday to Edinburgh.
    I love this car

It looks great, are you keeping it black or painting to match the car?
What's the noise level like inside the car now?

    I'm keeping it black Kev.
As much as I love the Cobra, I am planning to sell it at the end of the year and return to the hotrod/custom fold.
Not much point in spending the money to get it painted.
And the noise level has been reduced dramatically, especially the wind noise. You can have a conversation at 70mph now.

    Cheers
    Mark

PS. What's next for you after the Mustang goes?
