    Posting photo's - How do I resize?

Hi all, just trying to put a thread together with some photo's (never done before) I did a test and found that the photo's are very large when I preview hence didn't go any further with it.
Is there any way I can re-size the photo's.

I've uploaded my photo's to imgur and copy/pasted the BB code - Maybe that's wrong?

I use a great photo resizer called Faststone. It's free.

I'm (obscenely) lazy so I upload to https://imgbb.com/ and copy their "medium" sized links..

I use IMGUR the same way, however I resize my images before I upload them to IMGUR. The easiest way to do this (if you have windows) is find your image file, select "Open with" and then select PAINT. Once in Paint, you can select "Resize".

In the little window that opens, I select PIXELS and set the width to anywhere between 500 and 700 which is a good fit for a forum screen. So if your picture turns out to already be between 500 and 600, just leave it where it is, otherwise pick a number.

If you don't want to change the original, just use "Save as" and create a new file name and then upload it to IMGUR. Hope this helps.

    Thanks all

In the mean time I've actually done the work I was trying to avoid and created small versions of the photo's but I like the idea of https://imgbb.com/ as I am also lazy (one of my best attributes I think)

I learned to read at night class which is great because I can now read in the dark!
