    Heater valve O ring replacement

    Hi,
After the car came back from the paint shop noticed the o ring seal between the heater and the heater valve was leaking the o ring had gone hard and lost its shape. I would recommend any one who has not yet fitted the heater to replace the seal while it is out of the car.

Just buy an assortment box from Aldi, Screwfix, Ebay...etc. They come in handy for all sorts of other things as well

Yep as Chris says a universal O ring will do the job. I always put a good helping of worth adhesive around the flanges before re fitting so if the O ring fails it will never leak. To be honest with this method the O ring isn't actually required

Does anyone know what size o-ring fits?

Unfortunately I need to take mine apart and replace it having just bolted the body down and completed the wiring and plumbing. Joy.
