    Maybe also an idea: Does the pump have it's own suction filter in the body? Sometimes hard to tell but could explain disfunctioning??

    Not to sure on that one wetpool but pump looks old anyway and for piece of mind I will change it.

    I'm not saying that other setups won't work but you are much less likely to get fuel vapour locking or boiling in the fuel line when the fuel is under a positive pressure, i.e being pumped rather than being sucked. Also most pumps will pump fuel far better then they will suck it. All this points to placing the pump as near to the fuel tank as possible.
    I refuse to engage in a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent.


    Rules for buying 'Go Faster' parts:-

    If it's fast and cheap then it's not good.
    If it's cheap and good then it's not fast.
    If it's good and fast then it's not cheap!

    The last pump was by the bell hosing sidecarbod I shall leave it there
    all getting confusing
