    gaz shocks spring rates

    I need a quck fix for the six ! Can anyone tell me what goes where? Springs are 375 , 225, 200. Shocks are 1 set 1121 and 2 sets 1120 I have the jag irs setup

    I would say the 200 & 225 go on the rear along with the 1120s. Remainder on the front.
    Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
    At a guess I would say that's a set up for something a bit lighter than a Ford small block.

    I'd suggest that the 375's are a pretty good match for a SBF. If our cars weigh about a tonne with a rough 50:50 balance then that gives a corner weight of 250kg and those springs will compress 1 inch for every 375 Ibs. The springs need to be engaged to work. Too hard a spring and the suspension will not work.
    There are other things to consider such as spring inclination (and plenty of other things too). But just wanted to let you know that they would be OK. If you need a second opinion, get in touch with Dampertech who are Gaz agents.
