    Blue gel colour code

    Hi all,

my workshop was robbed a few months ago, just discovered the thieving ******** dragged something heavy across the bonnet and wings of the car.

Its a 92 car, dark (navy?) blue and I need some gel filler to fix the scratches. It's not painted, so the filler has to be a good colour match. I've just called pilgrim, and they no longer stock the coloured filler for pre 97 kits and don't have a record of the colour code.

I have contacted Llewelyn Ryland who supplied the gel originally, but what I really need is the colour code for this gel.

    anybody know? Ta!

I bet it would have gone off and hard by now, but it probably had the RAL code on it.

I have a pot in the garage from the early 90's. No idea whether it has the code on it. Will have a look for you

Well good news and bad news:
    - I found my gelcoat pot and it's still soft (though the hardner has all evaporated)
    - I found the original invoice from Pilgrim
    that's the good news

    BUT...
    - The pot only says "Navy" there's no label or marking anywhere else on the pot
    - The invoice says "Navy"

I have about half a pot so it you draw a complete blank I'm sure I can let you have a sample or something - don't think you're too far away if your title is right - I'm up near St Albans
