Making a Cobra fender in 11 minutes

I find this rather impressive. Not so much that he did it (which is impressive as it is), but that the effort looks totally hopeless after the first few minutes, yet it comes out fine in the end.

Who'd have thought that a cobra wing was exactly the same shape as a leg

Maybe if I used the world's supply of ali sheet I might get something near to a wing. But then maybe not.

Well if he can make a wing in 11 minutes then a whole body should be done in a day easy.
Lets say £100 per hour for his skill and electricity (£800) plus materials.
Now at £50 per square metre I’m guessing 30 square metres should do it, thats £1500 in ally.
So all in Cobra body ready to fit £2300 plus shipping.

Seems like a very expensive machine to replace a hammer!! I wonder how long it takes one of the polish fellas to do the same job

    It just so happens......
That particular panel takes them 5.5 hours.
They were making one when I was last over there.
They can probably stretch out what he has done in the clip in around 20 - 30 mins.

There are around 35 panels in a complete outer body and it takes around 150+ hours to make.
Then another 150 to weld it all together and fit it to the chassis.
Then another 150 hours to straighten it out and file it something like.
