Deep Breath....DB427SC Chassis no 4 ordered

    Hi all

Very excited to say I'm having chassis number 4 its incredibly exciting to be getting a car built for me and if theres interest, I'd like to do a build thread on here?

The car will be similar to Chassis no 1 and will have a 452cu in Huddart engine of c.500 BHP, Tremec 600 5 speed gearbox and will be sat on Avons. All smiths gauges throughout

Now I'm off for a final run in the Crendon

    cheers

    Paul

Is Mike Huddart still working then? Seemed to have gone ever so quiet recently.

Hope so. Dave got the recent engine from him so should be able to do mine. If not I suspect Georgia will be called!

well all we can say is thank God its not a big block chev!

Re the build thread, how about a series of articles for the club mag? Dave posted up lot of interesting stuff about DB1, but I bet there are tonnes of details in the build that werent covered in depth. Perhaps items that relate to recreated original spec parts etc

Final question...... are you painting it?!
