    What's this then…?

Is this really the real McCoy…?….at that price...?

AC Cobra (genuine) Registered correctly as an AC | eBay

Just wondered, wouldn't be my thing though - real or not.

unusual listing. Clearly its not a 60's cobra but "AC" struggled on under various owners until quite recently producing "cobras" of varying quality. The carbon road series was an attempt to produce a cheaper car than the aluminium bodies ones. Not many were sold.

If that is indeed one of those later cars then it would be a good buy at that price but as with all things "genuine" in the cobra world, it is a case of buyer beware!!! You'd need to take a very long hard look before parting with any cash

Not bad at that money!! Would make a nice base to modify and look more "60s"

I know the car, it is what it says.
Perhaps not the best spec/colour combination etc. but it is a genuine AC none the less.

I quite like the 700 horsepower SL65 he is selling for £24k.

I am not a very big fan of the CRS MkIV although at £35k it is not expensive if it is a genuine one.

If I had the money I would buy it.
Then convert to RHD, re-paint and re-upholster to standard MkIV spec, and add proper wheels to fill the arches.

Thats one unloved AC, almost as un-loved as Clapton's old car that sold a year or 2 back.

I know they are offered for sale at £70k, but does anyone actually buy them at that price?

I am still pondering why that AC is so low a price....surely the LHD doesnt devalue it that much?

That is arguably the most disgusting interior I've ever seen. It looks like a woman's bedroom.

I agree but nothing a roll of black carpet would not sort out. That goes for both cars.
