Anyone building a Cobra on the South Coast?

Anyone interested in a meet-up to discuss builds?
My AK is almost complete but I'm struggling to focus on getting it finished
    I live in Ringwood, Hampshire

    Re build

Hi Robin, Dave in Poole, we never did get to meet, I have just rebuilt the top of my engine and fitted a new fan after mine burnt out, hoping to start it today, so your car is nearly finished? It does get like that losing the drive/focus, it can be an emotional roller coaster, what is left to do? Dave

Hi Dave, Thanks for the reply. It's a long story but essentially it 'just' needs a dash/cockpit re-assembly and some plumbing under the hood to try the engine again. After that its just fitting all the shiny bits to get it ready for the road.
If your passing Ringwood way or just fancy coming over to giggle at how much dust it has collected, it would very nice to meet you.

Yes, will make the effort to pop over, started mine today, all seemed good, then saw a drip under rad! Looks like that's sprung a leak, another bloody job, will try and get it down to a mate who has a lift so I can get it out and hopefully repaired, it does push me to the limit! Dave

Dave, try "K" Seal if it's only a small leak.
It'll probably get you to the winter then you can do it properly.

    Re rad

Hi Kevin, did think about that but decided to put it up on axle stands at the front, rad now off and in to repair shop tomorrow, wasn't too bad to get out just fiddly and awkward bolts etc, whilst I,m at it I will change some of the hoses. Dave
