Anyone know whats in this GD kit item; IEL08C

Does anyone know whats included in the following from the GD parts list?

IEL08C Mk4 Classic Lucas flick switch set + machined stalks IVA friendly

In an ideal world I'd buy everything from GD but I need to shave cost wherever possible (without compromise on build quality) so if I can source the switches myself at a cheaper cost I must. (sorry GD profit margin!!)

Watch out for a few more questions like this coming up!!

They were very helpful and open when I wanted to source a few bits via my local family run spares shop.
Some things only they make though.

I got my switches from CBS, not sure exactly what their kit comprises of, but I used:
Lights 3 way (off, on on)
Heater 3 way (off on on)
    Rear Fog (off on)
    illuminated hazard
    maplins push button for starter.
The wiper and indicator stalks are normally from a vectra, don't cut them off till you pass the iva as they need the symbols on them to pass and then after, make some or buy their machined stalks.

Cheers Steve, that's great. So wipers, indicators and high beam are on the stalks. Where's the horn, is that on the stalk also?!

I don't know what the part list code refers to, but if you look on the GD website, the Mk4 brochure has a picture of the dash which shows the indicator stalks and dash switches - it's likely that these are them and they look pretty good if you like bling.

I bought my Mk3 with standard rocker switches fitted which I have since swapped for Lucas toggle switches which look much better, they aren't the chromed version of the GD picture though, and I didn't have to worry about IVA

My original switches are going to go on ebay, but as I swapped them out of my car for a more period look, I wouldn't recommend them going into yours.

yes Andy, those are on the stalks and use the standard symbols. The only on i had to change was stick a horn symbol on the rear washer position and wire the horn up to that. Took me a bit longer to work out how to do it than it just did to type it, lol

GD do the machined bits that can be fitted to the lucas switches once the plack plastic bit is removed if i remember correctly. But as my switches were laid out the same as GD, they are also within the safe exempt zone of the steering wheel.
