    I am also with FJ and have just returned the two page valuation completed by a local dealer - not a Cobra specialist but he does sell a combination of modern & classic cars. He ticked the specialist dealer box on the form. I will let you know what FJ say.

    my renewal quote had gone up £15 or so this year - probably due to the increase in the con that is Insurance Premium Tax increase to 12% in June this year. So my quote was £184 for 3k miles with agreed £25k valuation via Hagerty

    FJ have accepted the valuation of £40k - the local dealer is a family friend and he did look at the car (more out of curiosity I think as his wife wants one). Am I right in recalling that you are in Ticehurst?

    Yes, I am in Ticehurst but have been sorted out now by Anthony at Absolute Horsepower.
    Very simple and efficient process. Good value @ £10 too.
