1988 Dax project for sale

Hi all

Here is our Dax project for sale
The car belonged to my dad who owned if for 10+ years.
It was first on the road in 1988

Rover 3.5 V8
Holley 4 barrel carb
Sd1 gearbox
Has a full jag twin suspension rear end
Coilovers all round which will need refreshing

Story behind this one is

My dad bought it around 12-15 years ago.
He's put thousands into it over the years I have bags of history

He got diagnosed with MS and they took his licence off him around about 4 years ago so he gave me the car, at the time it was running but needed a water pump

It's sat in a garage since

8 months ago I took it to a mate of mine
We got the engine out
Fitted brand new alt and starter
EP pump with a lifetime warranty
Changed plugs dizzy and got it running
Adjusted timing as for some reason it was out
Bought a new rad and fan to fit

Plan then was to remove the body to repaint
& to paint the chassis too so it was mint

I haven't got the money to finish the project right now and it's killing me with it being such a family orientated project..

To finish it will need in my opinion
New brake discs n pads due to age
Coilovers rebuilding as they're looking old
Repaint 100%
Interior finishing

The car runs and drives it has nos installed a while ago and was never used due to my dad becoming ill at the time, so we sold the nos kit but we need to take the adaptor plate off of the carb as it leaks fuel right now.. easy to sort just needs this plate removing.
