    Paint friendly double sided tape

As the title suggests any recommendations for double sided tape that will be strong enough to hold the number plate but can be removed without causing damage to the paint?

    Thanks

    Thanks Andy,

I saw that but it doesn't say anything about being safe to remove off the paint. As I maybe looking to change the position of the number plate and don't want to damage the paint work as it won't be covered.

What colour is your car? If it's dark most tapes won't stain or damage. Normal trim tape should do.

I agree with Andy. The pads are designed to stick to paintwork. The foam pads hold well and when removing them tend to separate along the foam middle leaving the sticky sides on your paintwork and on the back of the number plate. The remaining sticky needs some solvent like petrol on a rag to loosen and remove it completely.
