    how about sourcing a used one, fitting it then get yours rebuilt. it would be the quickest way and keep cob on the road.
    there are lots of good brakers who know the condition of the parts they are selling.

    Thought about getting one to fit temporary but mine has output flange instead of juried coupling

    Diff out in just over 4 hours yesterday
    Dropped of at all gears this morning turnaround 2 - 3 weeks

    4 hours! Wow i'm impressed, did you drop it with everything attached or strip everything off in the car?
    Just about to take mine out this week, can't say I'm looking forward to it.

    Yes stripped everything of in the car. The only thing I didn't disconnect was handbrake cables , just hung the hubs of loop mounts. Everything came apart easy but I did smother pivot pins in copper slip when I put it together .also having transmission Jack made getting diff out easy , no heavy lifting

    I have an XJ 6 diff that I rebuilt and then replaced with a LSD . It was running well and quiet. Its yours for a small sum if you pick it up in North Yorkshire

    Got my diff back from Russell today and it looks like new
    Very happy and can't wait to get it build up.
