    Straight of the pump to the steering rack . Will have a look see if I can find any pics

    Hi Craig, Ive had a look at the pump but unfortunately can't see any markings on it.

    I have a Ford not a rover but after the electric blew the seals in my rack twice I got a pump off an old Peugeot and stuck it on. I first made some brackets out of fibre board and then after making sure it all lined up made them in Alley adding an idler wheel and it has worked faultlessly for several years now.

    I think I've seen that on here before which is why initially I was staying away from them, was it a Saxo pump that you were using?

    Yes that's the one, really heavy as well which I wouldn't mind so much about if it was at the rear of the car.
