Adrian, I sent you details of an original 289 hipo that was on UK eBay, he wanted 15k but it was built but never fitted New old stock I think.
Was it any good?.............never drive faster than your guardian angel.

As the others have said a 289 hipo, lots of ££££££.
I have just finished a 5 year 66 Mustang resto, we paid £600 for a knackered bog std engine that needed everything doing.
OE 289 blocks do come up but are now fetching a premium, just be careful if you do want a 289 as some of the last 289 blocks were used as 302's.
You might get a better offer on the Mustang owners club GB if you ask there.
