    Jag Diff Flange Needed

I seem to have been an idiot and lost the diff flange from my Jag diff and I'm getting set to get the prop made.

Don't suppose anyone has one kicking around that they would sell?

    Hi Lloyd,

I have a Jag part prop-shaft end (with 3 bolt end needed to mate with Jag diff) for sale £25?

    Russ was very helpful Kev.

He advised that the flange is the same as a Defender flange. Just grabbed a second hand prop shaft that I can take one off on EBay for 99p.

    Cheers Russ!! Owe you one.

    Lloyd,

    No problem.

Just in case anyone stumbles across this thread in the future - Lloyd was after the prop (to diff) flange - common flange to most RWD British Leyland (GKN sourced) diffs from the 70's and 80's.

Defender diff flange however, does not generally fit the jag diff unless it's specifically from the Salisbury (uprated) axle - the spline is completely different on the standard Defender pinion shaft.
