Tinka, yes we will be with 1st Tickets in their 'exclusive' fenced off area. Clean loos, clean showers, hot water, food, beer........cushty.
We might even opt for their pre-erected tents to avoid one of us getting perilously close to death while putting up tents in 40deg.
I did a parade lap in '14 and it was ridiculous. It absolutely hacked in down all morning so it was like driving on ice.
Being surrounded by wanna-be Jenson Buttons while we tried to keep it on the black stuff at a decent pace was not my idea of fun.
I have just heard that because there were so many crashes the organisers made sure the pace cars kept to a set speed.
As always, a good idea ruined by a bunch of tools.

Kev, I think it was '12 Classic when Charlie 'owned' all but one of the GT40's. We wondered why he didn't pass the lead one and he said that would be a bit 'off' as he was driving a SBC GD Cobra in the GT40 Owners Club track session.
    Brilliant fun to watch.

As always, leave it to the COWs to sort it out

As for ferry crossings, we've taken the overnight Portsmouth St Malo route a few times recently and it works for us. Good food and a decent night's sleep before the trip down to Le Mans the following day.

What is the 1St tickets exclusive area called? I'm booking with them. They suggested Eppinettes or maison blanc.

Heading down in convoy off the 8.16 am Shuttle on Thursday with my AK, an Austin Healey 3000, Sunbeam Tiger, 1967 Mustang, Challenger E Type replica and a 1968 911. Camping in "a friend of the Mustang drivers field" - what could possibly go wrong?! Will any Club Members congregate anywhere specific at any point over the weekend?

    Thanks
