    Thanks.

I have another single garage that I built in the back garden behind the one where I have the chassis, which is setup as my workshop really. I think back towards the start of this thread are a few posts from when I built it.

EDIT - see pages 5-6 on this thread

Thanks Jim, yes it feels like a good achievement. You will have to modify the thread title again for me

    Thanks.

I cut the outriggers off approx 6" from the main backbone of the chassis on both sides. Then sleeved the chassis and made up new outriggers.

Once all the old powdercoat was off upon inspection the rest of the chassis was in good condition.

Excellent work there! The restored chassis looks night and day compared to the original; should be a very nice Trevor once done but will you keep it, or is the joy more in the doing than the driving (like the Cobra, I assume)?

Welder looks familiar - Clarke 135TE? Part of me would like to upgrade to an R-Tech/Everlast etc but the Clarke always seems to 'just work' despite its age now.

Who knows if I will keep the TVR, I like a project to keep me occupied but I think next will be some decorating work on our house

The welder is a Clarke 151TE

That looks like a brillant job. I like to know how you got on with the shot blaster and is it work investing in one.
